 The founder of West Coast Broncos, John focuses primarily on product development and managing special projects. He also works in customer service, sales and promotions.  John Blaser bought his first Bronco while still in high school in the late '80s and immediately started looking for ways to make it perform better off-road. Back in those days the scarcity of Bronco parts sources forced the enterprising young off-road enthusiast
to innovate, cannibalize and fabricate to get the performance he wanted out of
his Bronco. This led to the all-familiar gathering of "parts rigs", then to
selling off the overage to friends, then to getting a reputation as a guy who
could "get stuff". And before long he realized his fate was sealed as a lifelong
purveyor of Bronco parts. In the years since, John has built West Coast Broncos
into a truly innovative fabrication and performance shop catering
exclusively to the Ford Bronco and Bronco enthusiasts.
Oh, and that first Bronco John bought way back in high school? He still has it and will soon be giving it the "West Coast" treatment. Today John and Christy personally own five Broncos: John's first Early Bronco, his fully custom Class 3-ready Pre-Runner Early Bronco, his full-width rockcrawler Early Bronco affectionately known as "The Beater", a nicely preserved big-block '79, and Christy's daily driver supercharged '96.

John and his wife Christy enjoy boating, RV'ing, fishing, riding quads and travelling when they're not immersed in the Bronco world. Frequent trips to Catalina and the lakes and rivers of the Southwest in their 31' Sea Ray keep the Blasers thinking
clearly through the long hot summers of Southern California. John's two boxers, Taz and Tyson are his constant companions at home, on vacation and at the WCB
shop.
